Q: What is ProcessWeaver’s core business?
David Vannoy: ProcessWeaver develops, delivers, and supports a unique suite of inbound and outbound transportation management solutions designed to complement standard SAP functionality, and help business running SAP ECC, S4/HANA, EWM, CRM, TM, GTS (as well as other standard SAP products) to accurately rate, rate shop, route, consolidate, ship, and tracking all SAP Sales Orders, Deliveries, Shipments, STOs, and POs. In addition, to helping companies reduce operational costs through automation and error reduction, ProcessWeaver’s TMS suite helps reduce transportation spend, improve supply chain visibility, and capture and store critical supply chain information. Our TMS is designed to meet the needs of any company, regardless of their size, complexity of their supply chain operations, or from where in the world their fulfilment activities take place.

Q: In what way do United VARs member benefit from you as business partner?
David Vannoy: United VARs can leverage ProcessWeaver’s certified transportation management functionality that is currently not available in standard SAP products, and helps them better meet the needs and requirements of their customers and prospects. In addition, ProcessWeaver decades of experience and expertise in transportation and logistics offers United VARs subject matter experts to help them win more business and enhance their offering to the marketplace.

Q: Digitalization is changing our customers' businesses. What main trends do you observe in the transportation technology industry and what is your company's approach?
David Vannoy: The Amazon Effect and the increasing demands of being able to compete globally is having a major impact on the way businesses need to fulfil orders and get them to their customers at the time and place they needs them. This is resulting in more parcel shipments, demands to consolidate orders into fewer shipments, and increasing requirements for 24/7/365 supply chain visibility into all shipping activities. To this end, ProcessWeaver’s solution suite is well suited to help businesses meet these demands.

Q: Could you sum up the benefits for businesses running ProcessWeaver’s transportation technology? David Vannoy: There are many. To mention just a few, lowering costs and reducing time make business processes more effective. Operational costs are reduced by automating manual or integrated processes and transportation costs though optimal carrier selection, order consolidation, and more efficient routing. External or integrated technology is not needed anymore in order to fill transportation gaps, which leads to a better leveraging of SAP investment.
