- 24th April 2019, Filderstadt -

With members, partners and sponsors collectively travelling over 540,760 km to get to and from the 2019 Annual Meeting in St. Leon-Rot, Germany, the United VARs alliance of leading IT consulting firms is one of the largest and strongest performing group of SAP Global Platinum resellers. The Annual Meeting started with a bang on April 2nd, as Adaire Fox-Martin, who is a part of the executive board for SAP, gave the introductory keynote speech to over 120 attendees, and heavily emphasised the importance of the partner ecosystem and why customer experience will be a growth lever for the next 5 years.
The United VARs alliance now has over 50 member companies represented in over 90 countries, and they meet once a year in Germany for top executive sessions. It is evident that the alliance is continually growing, as United VARs introduced six new members at this year’s Annual Meeting: Red Point Software Solutions from Romania, Systex from Taiwan, Terralink from Kazakhstan, AtlantConsult from Belarus, Edenhouse Solutions from the UK and Neusoft Huiju from China.

As a global strategic initiative, United VARs has set up the conversion factory network that will help support the S/4 Movement in 2019. United VARs currently has approximately 2,000 customers on S/4HANA and approximately 150 conversion assessments or ongoing projects; which shows how strong the S/4 customer momentum is.

The strength and quality of the United VARs members was further exhibited as Adaire Fox-Martin presented two SAP Pinnacle Awards that are reserved for leading SAP partners who excel in development and growth and who are committed to customer success. The two members who won the awards were Seidor for SAP ERP partner of the year for small and mid-size companies and B4B Solutions for SAP Hybris partner of the year.

Whilst we celebrated our members, partners and their achievements, we also shed some light on the WASH (water, sanitary, facilities and hygiene) social responsibility project that United VARs and SAP are involved in. As numerous schools in northern Cambodia are facing disastrous hygienic conditions, with no drinking water, toilets or unable to wash their hands. Therefore, with 15-25 thousand EUR it is possible to equip one school with clean water and improved hygienic conditions. This is an amazing project to be a part of, and it is something that United VARs is very passionate about; both SAP and United VARs are committed to donating 20k EUR each towards this cause.

Furthermore, United VARs customers can also look forward to a closer cooperation with the new global solution partners who joined the United VARs annual meeting for the first time and presented their complementary solution portfolio: Cideon, and Serrala. In addition to the existing UVARs global solution partners of Huawei, Symmetry, NEC, ProcessWeaver and Isec7 . United VARs strives for continual future growth as well as to strengthen its partner base in a targeted manner.
