SAP’s purpose is to help the world run better and to improve people's lives with sustainability at the core. These are objectives shared by United VARs and the members of our global network, all of whom are SAP Platinum Partners.
Let’s take a look at some of the initiatives which United VARs members are supporting to help make the world a better place…

AtlantConsult, is helping School №17 in Orsha, a small town in Belarus, to buy 3D printers and educational tools which encourage STEM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). This includes ‘LEGO Education WeDo 2.0’ which is a hands-on solution combining LEGO, robotics and programming to develop primary school pupils' curiosity and skills in computing and science.

Along with SAP and United VARs, AtlantConsult also helped to fund clean water systems in Cambodian schools. This is happening through the Corporate Social Responsibility project WASH, which was first agreed at the United VARs AGM in April 2019.

Members of the United VARs alliance agreed to donate 0.1% of their revenue, and SAP also pledged to donate funds. AtlantConsult encouraged their employees to support the project, and we are still welcoming donations to this excellent cause. If you feel inspired to help too, you can donate here.

Detaysoft recently donated to Turkish philanthropic organisation, TOÇEV (Tüvana Education Foundation for Children). They had pledged to make a donation on behalf of each person who completed their Intelligent Enterprise Analysis survey. TOÇEV provides children in need with regular health checks, nutrition support, school uniform and stationery and organises social events and psychological support. They also gifted children with tablets in the new year to support TOÇEV's distance learning campaign, and were thrilled to receive heartfelt thank you notes from the children which you can see here.

Founding member of United VARs, Seidor, has joined with other key technology players in the technology sector to create equal opportunities for women in technology. This includes initiatives such as ApadrinaTIC, which offers scholarships and mentoring to women students in vulnerable situations, and giving talks in schools through the ‘#100tífiques’ project.

Excecutives from Seidor have even been interviewed on the FibraCat TV programme, Women Approved, which showcases companies which are actively working to promote female talent and equality.

Last year, United VARs decided to build an orphanage in Tanzania, East Africa for 100 children with an adjoining school for 40. We contacted a charity already working in the area, Kleine Hilfsaktion e.V., to turn our vision into a reality. Work started as Covid-19 restrictions shook the world. This caused some delays but we are delighted that it has been successful. Check out this great video of the project.

We are proud to showcase some of the wonderful work United VARs and our members are helping to make possible across the world. You can find out more about our Corporate Social Responsibility projects, and even make a donation if you choose, at our CSR page.
